Shaughnessy has over 10 years of legal, risk and compliance experience. Prior to joining Crown Agents Bank, she worked on regulatory technology solutions at FundApps, acted as Chief Risk & Compliance Officer for Egypt-focused fintech dopay, and supported the creation and licensing process of the proposed Royal Bank of Scotland spin-off, Williams & Glyn.

She holds a Juris Doctor, and a Master of Corporate Law degree from the University of Cambridge. Prior to studying law, she completed a M.Sc. in Mathematics.
