Michael J. Goldfarb is the Chief of Staff, President, US at CAB Payments. Michael previously served as Chief Product Strategy Officer at Reserve Trust, a B2B payments company backed by QED Investors.
Prior to CAB, Michael was on the Founding Team and COO at Segovia Technology Co., a Reid Hoffman-supported fintech business focused on enabling payments to emerging and frontier markets. In 2019, Segovia’s enterprise business was sold to Crown Agents Bank and its consumer business was spun-out into an independent company (Taptap Send, Inc.). Before Segovia, Michael worked on the investment team at Centerbridge Partners and in M&A advisory at Blackstone.
Born and raised in New York, Michael has also lived in Denmark and China. Michael has worked closely with several non-profits, including the Bretton Woods Committee, an organization dedicated to effective global economic and financial cooperation, and Rescue City, a foster-based dog rescue, as well as numerous financial technology startups, including Ponto Software and Functional Finance. Michael received a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, where he was a John Harvard Scholar.
